Today’s Thursday Treat: Breakfast Croissant Sandwich. If you’ve been wondering why we haven’t been posting it’s because our lives got a little hectic I was working very long hours at my real job (Monica) and so was my sister not to mention she is a new mom. Our intention is to post more often as we both miss it tremendously. Speaking about intentions I’ve been doing yoga for the last 4 months and the results are amazing. During my first session this year we learned about “Shiva Linga mudra” which is the practice of intention and in yoga they use this term rather than setting goals as it sounds more appealing and it brings potency to your inner fire and helps you feel a sense of confidence. You might be wondering where I’m going with this and what it has to do with a croissant sandwich. In other words I’m going to intend to do things this years rather than set goals, when I learned about this I had an aha moment something suddenly clicked I have to admit I have never been one to set goals I have never really felt inspired by the term, but intentions I can work with so this year one of my intentions is to cook more often and somehow incorporate healthier choices in my recipes e.g., I’ve been using organic cocoanut butter for anything that calls for regular butter, but I don’t expect to do anything extreme (I’m not going vegan) I do everything in moderation another approach that really works for me.
Tip: I use a fork to mix the ingredients as I find it fluffs the egg up which I am a big fan.
